This magnetic clamp is fitted with an elastic joint. This system stabilises the magnetic clamp on its steel support in a constrained environment: vibrations, leverage, torsion, etc.
How does the elastic magnetic joint work?
The elastic joint containing the threaded rod is made from an elastomer resin. This elastic material is flexible but strong, capable of deforming under stress before returning to its original shape.
In this way, the elastic part absorbs energy and limits the leverage that could detach the magnetic pin.Single or double-sided elastic hinged magnet
You can choose between 2 types of magnetic system with an elastic joint:
- A magnetic pad with an elastic joint to which a threaded rod is attached
- A recto/verso system comprising 2 magnetic pads linked by an elastic joint.
We also offer recto/verso magnetic fixing systems with a fixed or rigid spacer.Dimension and magnetic power of the magnetic system with elastic joint
The magnetic mounting system with elastic joint comprises 2 magnetic studs 66 or 88mm in diameter, and a flexible joint 15mm long. Each stud is made up of several very powerful neodymium magnets.
Magnetic power of the 66mm stud: 20kg pull-out, 8kg slip
Magnetic strength of the 88mm stud: 42kg pull-out, 14kg slipCustomised assembly
On request, we can offer different magnetic fixing systems, with more or less powerful magnetic studs, elastic joints, spacers or recto/verso systems.
