This fixing plate is made up of 2 to 4 very powerful magnetic studs. It can be used to fix heavy loads of up to 75kg to a steel support: metal cladding, IPN beam, etc. An M8 screw with nut is supplied.
CAUTION: the magnetic studs must be positioned in direct contact with the metal surface.
Magnetic power
We indicate a magnetising power in kg which is equivalent to the tearing force required to detach the plate from its support.
We also indicate a sliding force in kg, which corresponds to the force required to slide the plate along the support. For wall mounting, the sliding force is used as the reference.
WARNING: the power of magnetisation will be reduced if the steel support is not thick enough (3 mm thick).Suitable for wall mounting
The magnetic pads are covered with a non-slip rubber. They are subject to very little shearing and are highly resistant to slipping.
If you want to fix a bulky object, we can add a silent block system to the magnetic studs on request to reduce the leverage effect. {Lien050} Be careful with the power of the magnets
These very powerful magnets must be handled with care.
To unhook the plate, use a rod to apply leverage.
