This magnet is designed to locate metal stud framing behind BA13 plasterboard wall.The neodymium magnet has a steel coating. It has a magnetic handle on which you can stick your screws.
The magnet is made of neodymium, an iron/boron/rare earth alloy which is currently the most powerful magnetic alloy. The magnet is coated with an anti-corrosion covering (chrome and nickel alloy) to protect it from cracking and to give an attractive finish.
We use a neodymium steel coated magnet. The steel coating protects the magnet from impacts and increases significantly its magnetic hold.
Why should we use a magnet to find metal studs through plasterboard wall ?
Simply because metal studs are composed of iron, suitable for magnet.The neodymium magnet is strong enough to be attracted by metal stud despite plasterboard thickness. It can also locate metal studs through two plasterboard plates size BA13, but it won’t stick firmly to plasterboard plates.To locate a metal stud through 2 plasterboard plates, slowly slide the magnet along your plasterboard wall and you will feel magnetic field attraction. Easy to use
: The magnetic stud finder has a rubber handle. This handle is composed of neodymium magnets and screws can stick to it. Instruction for use
: Slide slowly the magnet along your plasterboard wall. Hold the magnet flat to avoid stains on your plasterboard wall.{PARAGRAPHE01}{PARAGRAPHE03}{PARAGRAPHE05}
