Rectangular neodymium magnet is composed of an iron/boron/rare earth alloy which is currently the most powerful magnetic alloy. The magnet is coated with an anti-corrosion covering (chrome and nickel alloy) to protect it from impacts and to give an attractive finish.
Polarity : the north and south faces are located on the two largest surfaces of the rectangle.
The ticker the magnet is, the higher will be its strength. Pull strength is reduced if the magnet isn’t in flush contact with the ferrous surface.
